On Wednesday, December 17, 2014, Pyorax held an opening ceremony for its automotive parts manufacturing and research and development facility in the Knowledge and Information Industry Complex of Songdo International City. The facility was developed with an investment of USD 10 million from PIOLAX of Japan and has a total floor area of 7,600 square meters. It is equipped to manufacture and develop automotive components such as fuel valves and opening and closing devices. Pyorax planned to strengthen its production capacity and research and development capabilities in response to expanded orders from Hyundai Motor Company in China and India, while also moving forward with the hiring of about 140 new employees and the operation of a global development research center.
