On Saturday, June 14, 2014, IFEZ held a dinghy yacht race at Central Park in Songdo International City. The race was organized as a marine leisure event using the seawater canal and urban waterfront space, where sailors competed along the waterway framed by high-rise buildings. Central Park in Songdo International City is a representative waterfront space equipped with a 1.8-kilometer artificial canal and park facilities covering about 370,000 square meters, and it is a venue for various water leisure activities such as yachting and canoeing.
