On Tuesday, March 12, 2013, SUNY Korea held an entrance ceremony at the Incheon Global Campus in Songdo International City. The ceremony marked the university’s second admission of new students since its opening in 2012 and served as an opportunity to strengthen its global education and research capabilities as the first foreign university established in Korea. SUNY Korea plans to operate the same academic programs as Stony Brook University of the State University of New York in Korea and to cultivate globally competitive professionals through its undergraduate and graduate programs.
