On Monday, July 20, 2015, IFEZ received a delegation led by Zhang Hui (张惠), Mayor of Weihai, China, at G-Tower. The meeting was arranged to discuss ways to expand exchanges between the pilot cities for local economic cooperation under the Korea-China Free Trade Agreement and to promote cooperative projects. Both sides broadly discussed practical cooperation measures in trade, logistics, tourism, investment attraction, and the operation of representative offices. Weihai is a port city in eastern Shandong Province, China, and is regarded as a key gateway city for exchange with China due to its close geographic proximity to Incheon.
