On Friday, February 19, 2016, Incheon Metropolitan City and the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (IFEZ) signed an investment agreement with Yujin Robot. Yujin Robot plans to build a service robot manufacturing and research facility in the Knowledge and Information Industry Complex of Songdo International City. The facility is to be constructed with a total floor area of 14,654 square meters, and upon completion, the company plans to consolidate and relocate its headquarters and manufacturing facilities from Seoul and Bucheon. Yujin Robot is a specialized service robot company that manufactures robot vacuum cleaners, educational robots, and industrial robots.
