On Friday, March 4, 2016, H.E. Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, President of Egypt, visited G-Tower and Incheon New Port in sequence. During the visit, President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi received a briefing at the promotion hall on the 33rd floor of G-Tower on the development status of the Incheon Free Economic Zone, and at Incheon New Port he reviewed the operation of Seonkwang New Container Terminal and its automated cargo-handling system. Following this, the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority and the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation on the development of the Suez Canal Economic Zone, and agreed to cooperate in the exchange of economic development information, investment cooperation, and the expansion of mutual visits.
