On Thursday, February 25, 2016, Olympus Korea held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Olympus Korea Medical Training Center at the Site 5 district of Songdo International City. Olympus Korea plans to invest KRW 36.3 billion (approximately USD 30.0 million) to build educational facilities including training rooms, laboratories, and a main auditorium for professional product education and demonstrations for domestic and overseas medical personnel and employees, along with a medical device service center. Through this project, the company began establishing a specialized hub that combines medical device training and service functions.
