On Saturday, April 2, 2016, Incheon Metropolitan City and the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (IFEZ), together with citizens, carried out an Arbor Day tree-planting event in Songdo International City. The event was organized to improve the urban green environment and expand citizen participation in creating an eco-friendly international city in celebration of Arbor Day. On that day, participants planted trees throughout Songdo International City, contributing to the creation of a pleasant urban landscape and the strengthening of the foundation for an ecological city.
