On Thursday, May 12, 2016, ODEK Co., Ltd. held the opening ceremony for its R&D Center in Songdo International City. The opening was promoted to strengthen research and development capabilities in automotive exhaust catalysts and environmental and industrial catalysts, and to expand the foundation for technology advancement. ODEK Co., Ltd. is a specialized catalyst manufacturer established in 1985 as a joint venture between Umicore of Belgium and OCI Co., Ltd., and through the opening of this center, the company moved to enhance product development, performance improvement, and responsiveness to global markets.
