On Thursday, May 26, 2016, IFEZ held a roundtable meeting with vice ministers and a delegation from Central and South America at G-Tower. The meeting was arranged to introduce the development status and investment environment of Songdo International City, Yeongjong International City, and Cheongna International City to key government officials from Central and South America and to discuss ways to expand economic cooperation. IFEZ explained its free economic zone development model, smart city initiatives, international business environment, and advanced industrial infrastructure, and planned to broaden the foundation for exchange and cooperation with countries in Central and South America.
