On Thursday, September 1, 2016, IFEZ held the “Policy Debate on Participatory Budgeting for the 2017 Budget of the Free Economic Zone Development Division” at the main auditorium on the 3rd floor of the Civil Affairs Building of G-Tower. During the debate, participants discussed the direction of the 2017 budget with a focus on expanding infrastructure and convenience facilities, attracting domestic and international investment, holding overseas investment promotion briefings, and advancing major development projects. In addition, key projects in Songdo International City, Yeongjong International City, and Cheongna International City, as well as the direction of fiscal operations, were presented. Large-scale facility projects were planned to be completed with priority, while continuing projects were to proceed through annual adjustments to the scale of fiscal investment.
