On Tuesday, October 25, 2016, GE Healthcare held an opening ceremony for the “GE Healthcare Asia-Pacific Fast Trak Center” in Songdo International City. GE Healthcare is a company that provides diagnostic imaging equipment such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) systems and ultrasound devices, patient monitoring systems, medical software, and biopharmaceutical manufacturing technologies. The newly opened center is a training institution for bio-specialized professionals equipped with instruments for bioprocess development and quality control, and it was expected to contribute to cultivating practice-oriented talent needed in the bio industry of Songdo International City and expanding global educational cooperation.
