On February 9, 2017 (Thursday), IFEZ signed a mutual cooperation agreement with the KDI School of Public Policy and Management at G-Tower. Under the agreement, the two institutions planned to systematically support visits to the Incheon Free Economic Zone by overseas training groups seeking to study advanced urban development cases, and to jointly promote international publicity and policy exchange programs. The KDI School of Public Policy and Management is a graduate institution specializing in education and research in development policy, public policy, and international cooperation. The agreement was expected to help enhance the global recognition of the Incheon Free Economic Zone and expand the sharing of its urban development model.
