On Tuesday, June 20, 2017, Hana Financial Group completed the Integrated Data Center, the first-phase project of Hana Financial Town, in Cheongna International City. The Hana Financial Group Integrated Data Center is the first case in Korea’s financial industry to consolidate the human and physical information technology infrastructure of 13 affiliates within the group, including banking, card, insurance, securities, and capital businesses, into one location. Construction began in June 2015 and was completed two years later. The group finished transferring its information technology systems in May 2017, and about 1,800 related employees were scheduled to move in by the end of that month. Hana Financial Group is a comprehensive financial company with affiliates in banking, securities, card, and insurance.
