On Wednesday, September 13, 2017, Amada held the groundbreaking and safety prayer ceremony for the Amada Technical Center in Songdo International City. The project was launched to build a state-of-the-art education and research facility for metal processing machinery, where Amada’s technical training and research and development functions in the sheet metal processing sector were to be concentrated. Amada is a global company that provides sheet metal processing machinery and metal fabrication solutions, and this groundbreaking was expected to strengthen its foundation for customer support and technical workforce development in Korea.
