On October 12, 2017 (Thursday), Olympus opened the Olympus Medical Training Center in Songdo International City. The center was built with a total project cost of KRW 37 billion (approximately USD 32.7 million) and was equipped with facilities capable of delivering lectures using 3D imaging and 4K ultra-high-definition video. The center was established as a specialized training facility to support medical staff education, clinical skills training, and enhanced use of advanced medical devices. Olympus is a global company that manufactures endoscopes, medical equipment, and optical devices.
