On October 13, 2017 (Friday), the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority held a ceremony to mark its 14th anniversary. The Incheon Free Economic Zone accounted for 66 percent of total foreign direct investment attracted by Korea’s eight free economic zones, leading the nation’s free economic zone development. It also became home to international organizations including the Green Climate Fund, and established itself as a hub of the bio industry through the growth of leading bio companies such as Samsung Biologics and Celltrion. The ceremony was held to share these achievements and reaffirm its commitment to future development.
