On Thursday, February 1, 2018, IFEZ signed a memorandum of understanding with the Incheon Port Authority for investment attraction and joint marketing related to the development of port hinterland complexes. Under the agreement, the two organizations agreed to jointly utilize key client networks and investment information to promote development and investment in port hinterland areas within the Incheon Free Economic Zone, including the Incheon New Port hinterland complex and Aam Logistics Complex 2, and to carry out joint marketing and investment briefings for domestic and overseas companies. They also planned to cooperate in fostering high value-added logistics and tourism industries linked to Golden Harbor, cold-chain facilities, and e-commerce clusters.
