On March 27, 2018 (Tuesday), Korea Mitsubishi Elevator held a completion ceremony for its manufacturing and global R&D center in the Advanced Industry Cluster of Songdo International City. Through this project, the company established an R&D center, manufacturing facilities, a test tower, a product verification center, and a maintenance and installation technical training center at its Songdo International City site. Mitsubishi Electric and Mitsubishi Corporation of Japan invested a total of KRW 30.5 billion (approximately USD 28.4 million) in the project, and Korea Mitsubishi Elevator is a company engaged in elevator manufacturing and research and development.
