On April 4, 2018 (Wednesday), IFEZ signed a business agreement with Fashion Group Hyungji for the relocation of its headquarters and the development of a fashion cluster. Through this agreement, the completion in 2020 of the Hyungji Global Fashion Complex under construction in Songdo International City and the relocation of Fashion Group Hyungji’s headquarters from Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul were confirmed. In addition, the parties planned to develop a fashion industry cluster by promoting industry-academia cooperation with the Fashion Institute of Technology, relocating key fashion industry consultative bodies, and attracting major domestic and international fashion events.
