On April 11, 2018 (Wednesday), IFEZ held the Songdo Global Bio Hub Development Symposium at Songdo Convensia and signed an agreement with related organizations for the expansion of the bio hub. On that day, IFEZ presented the master plan for bio hub development and the roles of the participating organizations, and announced a plan to develop an approximately 990,000-square-meter site in District 11, in connection with Districts 4, 5, and 7 of Songdo International City, into a global bio hub.
