On September 20, 2018 (Thursday), Saint-Gobain Korea signed an investment agreement to build a bio fluid system manufacturing facility. Saint-Gobain Korea is a company that manufactures fluid system product lines used in biopharmaceutical processes for the transfer and storage of cell culture media and raw materials. The facility will be built on the Ki10 site (218-5, Songdo-dong) in Songdo International City, with a site area of 9,663 square meters and a total floor area of 13,293 square meters, consisting of two above-ground floors and one basement level. With a total project cost of approximately KRW 21.8 billion (approximately USD 19.5 million), construction is scheduled to begin in November 2018, and the manufacturing facility is planned for completion by the end of 2019.
