On October 9, 2018 (Tuesday), the 2018 Songdo International Marathon was held at Incheon National University. About 14,000 runners participated in the event, which was divided into a full course of 42.195 kilometers, as well as half marathon, 10-kilometer, and 5-kilometer courses. Participants ran through the urban area of Songdo International City, enjoying both the autumn atmosphere and the cityscape. The event served as an opportunity to promote public health, encourage participation in everyday sports, and highlight the urban appeal of Songdo International City.
