On Wednesday, February 20, 2019, the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority signed a business agreement with Incheon Port Authority to promote the sustainable development of Incheon New Port and the Incheon Free Economic Zone and to build a cooperative partnership. Under the agreement, the two institutions planned to cooperate on port infrastructure projects for the development of a marine tourism-oriented city, jointly attract investment to the Golden Harbor site, discover joint projects to revitalize marine tourism, and pursue measures to build an industrial foundation.
