On Tuesday, March 5, 2019, Huneed Technologies, together with EOS of Germany, opened the Additive Manufacturing (AM)* Technology Innovation Center. The newly opened center established a production base for aircraft parts specialized in three-dimensional printing by introducing EOS’s latest metal 3D printers. Huneed Technologies is a company focused on the defense industry and avionics sectors, and through the opening of this center, it plans to strengthen its capabilities in advanced aircraft parts production and technological innovation based on additive manufacturing.

* Additive Manufacturing (AM) refers to 3D printing, a term widely used in industry. It is contrasted with traditional subtractive manufacturing, which involves cutting away material. Unlike conventional printers that print flat text or images, 3D printing produces three-dimensional objects.
