On Friday, March 22, 2019, IRIS Korea Co., Ltd. completed its Incheon plant in Zone 5 of Songdo International City. The plant is a seven-story manufacturing and research facility for small home appliances and household goods, developed with an investment of approximately KRW 113 billion (approximately USD 100 million) after construction began in February 2018. With the completion of the plant, IRIS Ohyama plans to expand its domestic production and research and development capabilities and strengthen the foundation of its related businesses. IRIS Ohyama is a Japanese company that manufactures home appliances and household goods.
