On Tuesday, April 23, 2019, the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority signed a memorandum of understanding with San Bernardino County, California, the United States, for economic cooperation and mutual exchange. The memorandum of understanding was pursued at the request of San Bernardino County, which wished to learn from the development experience of one of the Republic of Korea’s representative economic zones and build a foundation for future cooperation. Through this signing, the two institutions plan to expand their cooperative base in the areas of investment, industry, and exchange.
