On Thursday, May 16, 2019, the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority signed the “Happy Study Room” business agreement with Samsung Bioepis Co., Ltd., Janssen Vaccines Co., Ltd., i-SENS, Inc., Innertron Co., Ltd., and Mitsubishi Elevator Korea Co., Ltd. to improve the learning environment of children from low-income households in Incheon. In cooperation with the ChildFund Korea Green Umbrella Foundation, the project was promoted as a community contribution initiative to replace wallpaper and flooring in homes of housing-vulnerable children and adolescents and to provide study materials such as desks and bookshelves, along with dedicated study rooms.
