On Wednesday, August 7, 2019, IFEZ held a Resident Participatory Budget Policy Forum to discuss the direction of the 2020 budget formulation and proposed projects. During the forum, participants discussed 10 citizen-proposed, community-focused projects, including the installation of smart crosswalks, yellow traffic signals in front of schools, vehicle guidance lines at intersections, replacement of lane-marking paint, tree planting in Yeongjongjin Park, creation of a park near the Yeongjong History Museum, a cultural sharing program at Art Center Incheon, management improvements for Haedodi Park and Dalbit Park, and the installation of a permanent stage and shade structures in Central Park. The total budget required for the projects was KRW 1.8 billion.
