On Thursday, August 29, 2019, IFEZ held an investment promotion briefing for about 100 chief executive officers and executives of global German companies. The event was organized to strengthen brand marketing for the Incheon Free Economic Zone and expand investment cooperation. Senior officials, including the Chairperson of the Korea-Germany Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Germany in Korea, as well as representatives from global German companies in the chemical, machinery, automotive, and financial sectors, including BASF, Bayer, Siemens, Mercedes-Benz, and Deutsche Bank, attended the event and showed strong interest.
