On Tuesday, October 29, 2019, Henkel Korea held a groundbreaking ceremony for its advanced electronic materials production facility at lots 218-6 and 218-7 in the advanced industrial cluster of Songdo International City. Henkel is a global manufacturer of consumer and industrial products headquartered in Germany, and since its establishment in 1876, it has expanded into 125 countries worldwide. The new facility is planned to produce top-quality products by introducing an advanced smart factory and a Building Management System, while incorporating eco-friendly features such as solar panels, rainwater recycling, high-efficiency energy equipment, and expanded green space.
