On Friday, November 29, 2019, IFEZ held the Global Citizens Council general meeting at Songdo Convensia. The meeting was organized as a communication channel to share the current status of the Incheon Free Economic Zone and discuss major policies, vision, and operating plans with citizens. The council consisted of 79 members, including residents of Songdo International City, Yeongjong International City, and Cheongna International City, Incheon Metropolitan City council members, district council members, experts, and foreign residents. It was structured into a general council and three regional subcommittees, with the general council to meet twice a year and the subcommittees quarterly.
