On Thursday, December 12, 2019, IFEZ co-hosted the Joint Academic Conference with the Incheon Association. Held under the theme “Development Directions of the Incheon Free Economic Zone,” the conference was organized to review the past and present of the Incheon Free Economic Zone and discuss its future directions ahead of the original target year of 2020. Participants exchanged views on innovation strategies, the achievements and challenges of development and investment attraction efforts, and governance systems for strengthening cooperation among industry, academia, research institutes, and government.
