On Monday, July 20, 2020, IFEZ held an interim report meeting at G-Tower on the study for optimizing the establishment of a general hospital in Yeongjong International City. The meeting brought together officials from Incheon Metropolitan City, Incheon Metropolitan Council, Jung-gu District Office, Korea Land and Housing Corporation, and Incheon International Airport Corporation, as well as National Assembly Member Bae Jun-young, Incheon Metropolitan Council Members An Byeong-bae and Jo Gwang-hwi, and local representatives. Participants shared the results of a survey on residents’ medical service demand and discussed the need for attracting a general hospital and possible implementation measures. Based on the opinions presented, IFEZ planned to collect additional views from experts and local residents and prepare a suitable hospital attraction plan for Yeongjong International City.
