On Monday, October 26, 2020, Incheon Metropolitan City signed an agreement with Korea Land and Housing Corporation and Incheon Urban Corporation for the construction project of Cheongna Haneul Bridge (Third Link Bridge). Under the agreement, Korea Land and Housing Corporation and Incheon Urban Corporation agreed to share KRW 619.5 billion, accounting for 95.3 percent of the total project cost of KRW 650 billion. The bridge will connect Jungsan-dong in Yeongjong-gu and Cheongna-dong in Seohae-gu as a 4.7-kilometer structure with a width of 29 meters, six lanes in both directions, sidewalks, and bicycle paths. Once completed, the project is expected to improve accessibility between Yeongjong International City and Cheongna International City, promote investment attraction, and contribute to balanced development in the western part of the Seoul metropolitan area.
