On Wednesday, October 28, 2020, the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Charmsori Gramophone & Edison Science Museum for the establishment of the tentatively named “Edison Museum.” The Charmsori Gramophone & Edison Science Museum, located by the lake in Gyeongpo Provincial Park in Gangneung, Gangwon-do, is one of the region’s 대표 attractions. Through this agreement, IFEZ plans to build the Edison Museum within the Incheon Free Economic Zone to expand cultural and tourism infrastructure and provide visitors with a wider range of attractions.
