On Friday, December 18, 2020, Incheon Metropolitan City and Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (IFEZ) signed an agreement with Yonsei University and Songdo International City Development Co., Ltd. for the Phase 2 development of Yonsei University Songdo International Campus, including the construction of Songdo Severance Hospital and the creation of Yonsei Science Park. Under the agreement, Incheon Metropolitan City will provide a 342,219㎡ site in District 11 of Songdo International City, and support the construction of anchor facilities for Yonsei Science Park through the development of apartment housing and mixed-use residential sites.
