On Tuesday, December 22, 2020, IFEZ completed the landscape lighting improvement project for Canalway in Cheongna International City. The project was carried out along a 1.8-kilometer round-trip section covering Munhwa 1 and 2 Parks and the Cheongna Lime-ro to Canal-ro area to create more attractions and leisure spaces and to help revitalize local commercial districts. The improvements included LED waterway lighting installed along the sides of the Canalway curbstones, artificial reed-shaped lighting in the island section, and an art wall lighting display on the pedestrian bridge “Haengbok(ui) (Happiness) Bridge,” further enhancing the area’s nighttime scenery.
