On Tuesday, February 23, 2021, Yonsei University held the opening ceremony for Maker Space Specialized Lab i7 at Yonsei University International Campus in Songdo International City. Maker Space Specialized Lab i7 was established after being selected as a support institution for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ 2020 Maker Space Establishment and Operation Project, becoming Incheon’s first specialized lab. Equipped with facilities and tools for 3D printing, woodworking, and printed circuit board practice, it was created as a specialized creative space to support idea realization, product development, prototype production, and startup linkage for creators and prospective entrepreneurs.
