On Thursday, April 1, 2021, Incheon Metropolitan City and the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (IFEZ) signed an investment agreement with TOVIS Co., Ltd. for the construction of an industrial monitor manufacturing facility. TOVIS Co., Ltd. will invest KRW 32 billion (approximately USD 29 million) to build a three-story manufacturing facility on a 10,857.3㎡ site in the Knowledge and Information Industry Complex of Songdo International City. Construction was scheduled to begin in September 2021, with completion and operation planned by the end of 2022. TOVIS Co., Ltd. is a KOSDAQ-listed company that manufactures TFT-LCD modules used in industrial monitors and mobile phones, as well as automotive displays, and is recognized as a technology-leading company that first developed and commercialized curved gaming monitors worldwide.
