On Monday, June 21, 2021, IFEZ held a roundtable meeting with major resident companies in the Songdo International City bio cluster. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Mayor of Incheon Metropolitan City, the Vice Chairman of the Korea Biotechnology Industry Organization, and representatives of companies located in the Songdo International City bio cluster. Participants listened to business difficulties and discussed the future direction of the bio industry. Songdo International City has built up a concentrated base for biopharmaceutical research, development, and production, and plans to further strengthen its global competitiveness through closer corporate cooperation and continued advancement of the industrial ecosystem.
