On Tuesday, September 14, 2021, IFEZ signed a business agreement with Hyundai Motor Group to expand electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Under the agreement, the two sides agreed to cooperate in building charging infrastructure within the Incheon Free Economic Zone and to first install six 350-kilowatt ultra-fast chargers and 100 three-kilowatt outlet-type slow chargers at the Unseo Station Public Parking Lot in Yeongjong International City by the first half of 2022. The parking lot entered a free pilot operation on September 15, 2021, ahead of its official opening on October 1, 2021.
