On Wednesday, November 24, 2021, H.E. Carlos Andres Alvarado Quesada, President of Costa Rica, and his delegation visited IFEZ. The delegation toured the IFEZ Smart City Operation Center, received an overview of the smart city development status, and held talks with Lee Won-jae, Commissioner of the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority. During the meeting, President Carlos Andres Alvarado Quesada expressed interest in national development strategies through foreign investment attraction, and Commissioner Lee Won-jae introduced experiences in financing urban development and attracting companies, while also expressing willingness to share development know-how.
