On Tuesday, December 7, 2021, IFEZ held the “2021 Incheon Free Economic Zone Smart City International Symposium” online at Gyeongwonjae Ambassador Incheon in Songdo International City under the theme of “Smart City Innovation through Startups,” together with the Embassy of France in Korea, Business France, the French Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Stanford Center at Incheon Global Campus. The symposium featured a special keynote speech by Fleur Pellerin, former French Minister for the Digital Economy, and proceeded with three sessions on urban planning and policy, sustainable smart cities, and startup technology and innovation, while discussing the future direction of smart city development and international cooperation.
