On Thursday, December 16, 2021, IFEZ held the Incheon Free Economic Zone Global Citizens’ Council Meeting. The meeting was organized to hear the opinions of local residents and experts on the development of the Incheon Free Economic Zone, following the reorganization of the council roster to 77 members to reflect the establishment of Songdo 5-dong and new local groups. Separate sessions were held for Songdo International City, Yeongjong International City, and Cheongna International City, where officials explained major pending issues such as the development method for District 11 in Songdo International City, facility installation in Seaside Park in Yeongjong International City, the medical complex town project in Cheongna International City, and the revitalization of tourism resources, followed by a question-and-answer session.
