On Thursday, August 24, 2023, the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (IFEZ) signed a business agreement with the Korean Association of Immunologists and the Emerging and Re-emerging Infectious Diseases mRNA Vaccine Project Team for the successful hosting of the Korean Association of Immunologists International Conference 2023. Under the agreement, the institutions agreed to cooperate in holding academic conferences and forums in the fields of immunology and life sciences, and to actively participate in life science policy development, investment attraction, the building of industry-academia-research-hospital networks, and inter-institutional cooperation. The agreement is expected to help strengthen the competitiveness of the bio-healthcare industrial ecosystem in Songdo International City.
