On Tuesday, September 12, 2023, IFEZ signed a memorandum of understanding with Seonggwang Medical Foundation to promote the attraction of a global specialized hospital to Songdo International City. The memorandum was prepared to create a hub for cell therapy, anti-aging, and infertility treatment on the international hospital site (I-11, 28-1 Songdo-dong) in Songdo International City. CHA Hospital plans to establish medical facilities including an infertility specialty hospital, a clinical trial center, a stem cell treatment center, and a Bio-cell Bank, while also promoting the relocation of some departments of CHA University Songdo Campus and the construction of research facilities and reagent production facilities operated by CHA Bio Group. Seonggwang Medical Foundation is an institution that operates medical organizations and promotes projects in the bio-healthcare sector.
