On Wednesday, January 12, 2005, the Harvard Advisory Group visited the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority to discuss plans to attract five prestigious elementary, middle, and high schools from the eastern United States. The visit was arranged to help build an internationally competitive educational environment and strengthen the foundation for attracting foreign educational institutions. The Harvard Advisory Group is a U.S.-based consulting group that provides advice on the establishment and operation of foreign schools. During the visit, the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority discussed directions for cooperation to expand educational infrastructure and improve residential conditions, and expected the attraction of foreign educational institutions to gain momentum.
