On Wednesday, March 30, 2005, Lee Hwan-gyun, Commissioner of the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority, held the first Investment Attraction Advisory Committee meeting at The Westin Chosun Seoul. At the meeting, Commissioner Lee presented letters of appointment to 12 domestic and international experts appointed to support foreign investment attraction and discussed strategies and future directions for investment promotion activities. Participants shared views on attraction strategies in response to changes in the global investment environment, ways to strengthen promotion, and measures to expand professional networks, while the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority said it would systematically advance its investment attraction efforts based on the discussions.
