On Thursday, June 16, 2005, IFEZ held the groundbreaking ceremony for Incheon Bridge in Songdo International City. About 2,000 people attended the event, including President No Mu-hyeon, Deputy Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, and the Minister of Construction and Transportation. Incheon Bridge will serve as a key link between Songdo International City and Incheon International Airport in Yeongjong International City, and the project will expand development infrastructure, promote foreign investment, and strengthen the foundation for Northeast Asia’s economic hub.
